Students walked out of classrooms and onto the streets to protest a lack of government action on Climate Change on Friday.
An estimated 7 thousand to 10 thousand people marched on Queensland’s parliament house - almost ten times more than last year’s strike.
Queensland political leaders said students should have organised the march outside of school hours, but students argued that the protest and potential threat of climate change is more important than one day of schooling.
