During Apple’s 2019 Event, they announced they will now branch out from producing iPhones and the like and begin producing their own films and TV shows which people with Apple devices, and other streaming gadgets such as Roku, will be able to subscribe to.

In order to make the Apple TV+ streaming service a success, they will face enormous costs but they need it to work considering iPhone sales have flatlined since 2015, seeing a fall of 15% since 2018’s last quarter.

They will have to invest billions, or even tens of billions, of dollars in order to survive in the saturated market and compete against Netflix, Amazon and other similar streaming services.

The subscription cost has not yet been announced, however, the service will be available from September.
