Brisbane’s new and incoming Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner announced he wants to build 5 new green bridges.
Cr Schrinner believes the move will reduce traffic congestion across the city and is expected to cost at least $550 million.
The announcement was made shortly after Cr Schrinner was voted as the City’s new lord mayor, and said the builds “will make Brisbane a more clean, green and active city.”
