Climate change activists have glued themselves to the roof of a train in London on the third day of protests in the city.

The Extinction Rebellion group organised protests which have resulted in the shutdown of major traffic routes and 300 arrests since Monday.

Main traffic routes such as Marble Arch, Parliament Square, Oxford Circus and Waterloo bridge are among those that have been disrupted since Monday, with a “light” disruption of the city’s underground train network taking place on Wednesday.

The group said the transport disruption, is called “the pause”, and aims to consider the extent of harm humanity has caused the earth.
