Five prisoners have been returned to custody after a suspected mass drug overdose at the Capricornia Correctional Facility.
Paramedics were called in just after midday on Sunday, necessitating a full lockdown to get the affected prisoners to hospital.
Queensland Corrective Services has announced a two-year prison sentence is on the table for whoever is responsible for supplying the illicit substance. One prisoner remains in hospital.
