Brisbane City Council has announced new 40km/hr “go-slow zones” at two suburban shopping precincts in Brisbane.

The retail strips in Corinda and Stones Corner will be subject to the new rules next Tuesday in a move the LNP council says will create safer environments for cyclists and pedestrians.

Labor opposition councillors have used the move to call for a more extensive roll-out the “go-slow zones” at six other sites across Brisbane.
