British politician Nigel Farage was hit by a milkshake in Newcastle yesterday.
The perpetrator 32 year old Paul Crowther argued it was an act of protest, saying although he was looking forward to the banana and salted caramel beverage, he believed it served a better purpose in drenching Farage.
A spokesperson for Prime Minister Theresa May condemned the act, arguing that politicians should be able to go about their work without harassment or abuse.
