Labor MP for the Queensland seat of Rankin, Jim Chalmers, announced he is considering running for party leadership.
Mr Chalmers, who is from Labor’s Right faction, would likely face Anthony Albanese from the Left Faction.
Mr Chalmers said he wants to play a substantial role in rebuilding Labor’s electoral fortunes and rebuilding party policy on Q&A last night.
