Shadow Treasurer, Chris Bowen, has declared he will run for the leadership of the Labor party.
Mr Bowen of the Right faction, oversaw the ambitious tax changes the party took to the election.
He will likely face Labor frontbenchers Anthony Albanese and Jim Chalmers.
