A meteor the size of a ‘small car’ was sighted in South Australian and Victorian skies last Wednesday according to NASA.
It is the second to land in Australian borders this week, after a meteor lit up the sky in purple and shook windows near Alice Springs on Monday.
Astronomer David Finlay, who manages the Australian Meteor Report Facebook page, said the event was the biggest he’d seen in the four years of running the site.
