The Brisbane Transit Centre, dubbed as the city’s ‘Ugliest building’ is set to be demolished in 2020 to make way for a new transit hub.
Plans to implement a new underground Train station and Bus interchange in inner city Brisbane will go ahead despite lack of federal funding.
Infrastructure minister Jackie Trad says the move will create a seamless transition between bus and train with transport becoming very reliable and very accessible.
