A ban on townhouses and apartment blocks in Brisbane’s suburbs could come into effect before the end of the financial year.
In September last year, the council requested state government's approval to amend the council’s City Plan.
The plan prevent apartment blocks and townhouses from being built on blocks larger than 3000 square metres in low-density residential zoned suburbs.
