Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg admits they “fell short” when designing the safety alert system on the 737 Max aircraft.
Mr Muilenburg says that the safety feature could have alerted pilots of the problem earlier in the flight.
The Boeing 737 was involved in two fatal crashes in five months.
