Lebanese-Australian doctor Jamal Rifi can no longer visit Lebanon out of fear he will be arrested for visiting Israel, which is illegal for Lebanese citizens to do without government approval.

Dr Rifi visited Israel to carry out his role with Project Rozana, an organisation committed to providing medical treatment to sick and injured Palestinian children in Israeli hospitals.

Journalist Lea Azzi, who wrote articles criticising Dr Rifi, says she stands against any collaboration between Israel and Palestine, as Israel occupied Palestinian land and forced out its natives.
