Brisbane City Council’s Labor opposition says council advertising for the new Victoria Park should not use the face of Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner.
Labor opposition leader Peter Cumming has criticised the Liberal administration over the amount it spends on advertising and says the ads have been used for personal campaigning in the past.
An initial funding of $1 million is allocated for community consultation and the design of the park in the new council budget.
