India’s sixth largest city, Chennai is facing a water crisis, with people fighting in queues for water, many unable to shower and small businesses being forced to close.
Most of Chennai’s population of four million are now relying on government tankers for water, which can take up to four days to arrive.
Government officials say that rainfall is the city’s only hope.
