Britain has suspended the approval of new export licenses for Saudi arms, which could contribute towards the conflict in Yemen.
The conflict, which has claimed tens of thousands of lives, has been labelled by the United Nations as the world’s biggest current humanitarian crisis.
Liam Fox, International Trade Secretary announced the suspension, after a British court pressured the government to rethink their role in the crisis through these deals, but Fox says they will seek permission to appeal the decision.
