A new performing arts centre will be built at Hervey Bay State High as part of a record $1.46 billion state school infrastructure investment across Queensland.
Education Minister Grace Grace says the project is fantastic news for the school community, creating space for students to develop skills within the arts.
The project featured in last weeks State Budget, which included $12.2 million for schools in the Hervey Bay Electorate.
