Five aboriginal female artists from Maningrida, Northern Territory, are going to Paris next October for an exhibition and a series of workshops.

Ingrid Johanson, the manager of the Babbarra Women’s Centre, pitched the exhibition of their work to the embassy last year to display it at the 2019 United Nations Year of Indigenous Languages.

Johanson says this exhibition it’s about embracing the diversity of languages of Maningrida and celebrating it on an international scale.
