Two employees at the Lucas Heights Nuclear facility in Sydney have been exposed to radiation.
The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology organisation said the facility stopped manufacturing the radioisotope Mo-99 after contamination was detected.
The radiation dose to the two workers was equivalent of a conventional radiation therapy treatment dosage.
