The state government and local council want to move Cultural Centre station, upon the arrival of Brisbane City’s metro system.
The State Government has decided not to sign off on the initial plan to have the metro system run beneath the Cultural Centre bus station in South Brisbane.
The $944 million project will be delayed to begin design plans for a new metro stop beneath the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
