Prime Minister, Scott Morrison has said he will seriously consider any requests from Trump to take part in military action against Iran.
Mike Pompeo, The US Secretary of State, has asked Australia to harden its position on Iran and join a new global coalition against the country.
Tensions are rising between the two, following the US’ decision to pull out of their nuclear deal in May last year, and were further heightened by Iran shooting down a US surveillance drone last week.
