Riot police have used tear gas and rubber bullets in response to another Hong Kong rally, where demonstrators threw eggs at government buildings.
Those who organised the Sunday protest say more than 430,000 people attended, but police say numbers were closer 138,000.
Mass protests had been held for weeks over a since-suspended extradition bill, while recent marches continue over general democractic concerns.
