Health authorities are urging pregnant mums to get vaccinations after hundreds of Victorian babies under the age of 12 months are diagnosed with the flu.
According to the figures from the Victoria’s Health Department, there have been over 400 cases reported of flu compared to 29 last year.
Victoria's chief health officer Brett Sutton said serious illness in babies can be avoided if the mother is vaccinated while pregnant.
