A Sunshine Coast woman was involved in a 6 million dollar scam after a man she met on a dating site convinced her to open a bank account he later used to store stolen cash.
The scammer hacked a Sydney company’s email to take over a 6 million transaction between the company and a Korean business.
Detective Senior Sergeant Daren Edwards is encouraging people on dating sites to be aware of red flags and be realistic when using these sites.
