Residents of Whaley Bridge, England have been told to evacuate their homes after a dam partially collapsed after heavy rains and flooding.

The Derbyshire Police had to move the 6,500 residents of the town to a local school after part of the concrete wall of Toddbrook Reservoir Dam, which is located above the town, crumbled.

The UK’s Environment Agency issued a severe life-threatening flood warning for the river Goyt below the reservoir.
