Turkey’s largest city, Istanbul was rocked by a 5.7 magnitude earthquake yesterday that struck a depth of 12km. 

“In the whole region, AKOM has not received any information on the loss of life and property, in any case, be vigilant,” said the Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu in a tweet. 

The epicenter of the quake was around 70 kilometres west of Istanbul in the Marmara Sea.
