The Veloway 1 Cycleway is closing facing “urgent” month-long repair work.
The popular bikeway that runs through Woolloongabba will be closed over the coming month due to urgent maintenance on the city’s power grid.
Energex says they " thank the cycling community and local residents for their patience and understanding during the delivery of this vital maintenance,"
Meanwhile, cyclists will be detoured onto one of Brisbane’s busiest arterial roads.
