A “Blessing of the Animals Ceremony” is taking place today at 10:30am at RSPCA Queensland’s Animal Care Campus at Wacol.
Today on World Animal Day, Father Olaf Anderson from St Michael’s Anglican Church will hold a special Blessing of the Animals Ceremony with similar ceremonies taking place worldwide.
RSPCA Queensland’s Wacol Shelter Manager Nanda Ten Grotenhuis says, "the animals all get individual attention and they truly are aware that something very touching is happening”.
