Major changes are being proposed for a cycling black spot in inner-city Brisbane after 27 riders have been injured in the past 5 years.
Brisbane City Council proposes removing 115 car spaces, installing traffic lights, changing bus stations, building pedestrian refuges and reducing the speed limit along Dornoch Terrace.
Local Greens councillor Jonothan Sri invited most of the proposals and had ideas for other seconds.
"I think this is a great idea which will slow down cars and bikes and dramatically improve pedestrian safety", Mr Jonothan said.
