Days after the Supreme Court ordered MPs to return to work the British Prime Minister is vying to suspend parliament for the week.
This would allow for the Queen’s speech to occur days ahead of the crucial EU summit on October 17th-18th.
In a statement, Mr Johnson says " we will get Brexit done on October 31 and continue delivering on these vital issues.”
The attempt has risen after the UK’s highest court ruled Johnson’s decision to prorogue parliament for five weeks unlawful.
