Several sightings of reported of the extinct Tasmanian tiger have been revealed in Government documents.
A cyclist said he saw a ‘cat-like’ animal with stripes and darkish brown fur crossing the Lyell Highway early last year.
The most recent report was August 2018.
The mammal was officially named extinct after the lat known member of the species died at Hobart Zoo in 1936.
