Scientists say research two decades in the making has pinpointed the cause of severe ADHD, and pointed to ways to control and even reverse it. 

Dr Luca Cocchi, lead researcher and head of the Clinical Brain Networks team at QIMR said, “Our results suggest that elevated noise in the signal between sensory and cognitive regions of the brain and related to people having trouble maintaining their attention and controlling their hyperactivity, “

The research suggested medication was the best way to manage chronic ADHD.
