The ABC has apologized for unintentionally revealing the names and faces of three sexual abuse and harassment survivors in an coming documentary about the #MeToo movement.
Journalist and presenter of the documentary Tracey Spicer apologised for the mistake and said she was assured no one would be identified in the broadcast version.
“The welfare of those who have suffered sexual abuse or harassment is of utmost importance to the ABC and we wish to assure them that Silent No More will treat these issues with respect and care while shining a light on the need for positive change in this area," Ms Spicer said.
An embargoed version of the documentary was distributed to journalists last month via ABC’s media portal, with the documentary’s number of views is unknown.
