Influential figures from some of Queensland’s largest organisations and community groups will oversee the next phase of the State Government’s domestic and family violence reform agenda.

Domestic and Family Violence Implementation Council Chair Ms Kay McGrath and former Queensland Police Commissioner Bob Atkinson AO APM will serve a 12-month term as the leaders of the Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Council.

Di Farmer, Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence, said our best chance of ending domestic and family violence is to present a united front with all sectors working toward the same vision.
