It was love, love, love, as the Mountain Goat herd descended on Fortitude Valley for the 2020 edition of their annual Valley Crawl. The free event showcased some of Australia’s top talent with six-and-a-half hours of original tunes across nine venues in Fortitude Valley. Kicking off at 5:30, acts played right through to midnight and then kicked on into the early hours at the Black Bear Lodge afterparty.  Some of the performers included: Great Sage, Tia Gostelow, Dopamine and many, many more - too many to see in one night.

This fan staked his place out at Blute’s bar and caught Lost Goat Found, who played a flawless set that included: Rocking Horse, Something Up Stairs and their next single No Limitation. The set finished with a great dancing tune, I Got Time. The band had a great stage presence and audience interaction and boy can they pull a crowd; Blute’s bar was packed out for them.

A venue I could not pass up on was the Crowbar, at their new location in Warner Street. Outside, the Valley Drive-In played host to Sydney band 100, who rocked out for their 30-minute set. With classic songs such as Special Vision and Weightless, they proved they weren’t a band to be missed.

The Brisbane Mt Goat Valley Crawl was an event to remember and an event that is a great way to kick off the musical calendar in Brisbane. Every bar involved in the Crawl had great music pumping out all night long and I am sure there were many great memories made for all.
