Toowoomba is getting a new community area where members can access low-cost prototyping, called a 'Hackerspace'.
The Queensland Hackerspaces Grant program is an initiative of the Palaszczuk Government’s 'Advanced Manufacturing 10-Year Roadmap and Action Plan'.
“The aim is for people to engage with advanced manufacturing technologies to assist the facilitation of hands on knowledge and skills needed for our jobs of the future,” she says.
