The Palaszuk Government will provide new funding to ‘restore, conserve and create monuments and memorials’ acknowledging Queensland veterans’ contributions.
Premier Anastacia Palaszuk says her Government will commit $1.2 million of funding over three years to ensure the protection of these memorials for future generations.
This latest funding round includes support to the restoration of the Wooroolin Memorial Hall, conservation of the St Matthias Church Honour Roll, and the restoration of the Maryborough War Memorial and Memorial Gates.
