Former Queensland LNP leader Lawrence Springborg is making his political comeback after two years away from the political landscape.
The electoral commission has revealed that he was the only person to nominate for Mayor of Goodinwindi.
Mr Springborg said he made this decision after encouragement from the community over the last year.
