The European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership has granted PAMAfrica research consortium led by Medicines for Malaria Venture forty-four million euros to aid in the development of new malaria treatments.

Equivalent to over seventy-four million Australian dollars, the grant will support the development of a portfolio of projects executed under the umbrella of the PAMAfrica research consortium over a period of five years.

This money will go to supporting three clinical trials including the development of new medicine and vaccines for those affected by the disease.
