Elizabeth Warren has dropped out of the 2020 democratic presidential race, just one day after former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg also withdrew his candidacy.
Warren centred her campaign on fighting corruption in the American economy and influence of money in politics, tackling gun control, climate change and healthcare.
Unfortunately, her vast number of progressive policy proposals failed to attract a broader political coalition in the Democratic Party.
Her withdrawal from the race means former vice president Joe Biden and US senator Bernie Sanders are the last two candidates in the running for the Democratic nomination.
