Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has committed $1 million towards Rockhampton’s triennial Beef Australia event, to be held 2-8 May 2021.
The event celebrates the Cattle and Beef industry and will feature over 30 breeds of cattle and a trade fair promoting more than businesses and industry research.
The injection is hoped to support Rockhampton’s regional economy, which has been impacted by drought and flood.
