The World Health Organization has categorized the Coronavirus outbreak as a pandemic amid rising infection rates around the world.

As a result, India has decided to suspend the majority of travel visas to the country in an attempt to control the spread of the virus.

India’s Health Ministry has said all existing visas, except diplomatic, official, UN and international organisations, employment and project visas, stand suspended until April 15, 2020.

This decision comes as the number of Coronavirus cases around the globe continue to skyrocket.

Globally, cases have reached 120,000 across 114 countries.
