The Labor Party claims Prime Minister, Scott Morrison directly oversaw the allocation of community sports grants to marginal electorates held by the coalition in the controversial Community Sports Infrastructure Grant scheme.

Labor’s claim comes from new answers to questions from the Australian National Audit Office about an email correspondence between Senator and former Minister for Sports, Bridget McKenzie and Mr Morrison.

An email from the Prime Minister’s office suggested Mr Morrison had not had a chance to look over the proposal.

Labor spokesperson, Don Farrell, says this implies Mr Morrison was directly involved in the approval process.
