Sydney has announced plans to build a museum dedicated to the history of Chinese people in Australia.
Lord Mayor Clover Moore says the location will feature a gallery and exhibition space, as well as programming activities, community spaces for events and an artist in residence program. The museum will be aimed at promoting and sharing the story of Chinese settlers and understanding and celebrating the challenges, contributions and achievements.
