A large clock has been installed in Times Square in New York displaying the number of preventable COVID-19 deaths in the United States.
Its creator, Eugene Jarecki, has been outspoken about the dangers of delaying action and wants people to realise how devastating the week-long delay in implementation of social distancing measures has been on American’s health. Currently, the US has the highest COVID-19 death toll in the world.
