Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says that state borders may remain closed till September to reduce the risk of reinfection occurring due to interstate travel.
This comes as infection rates slow across the country with sporadic flare-ups in Victoria and New South Wales
Palaszczuk is optimistic about opening the borders to the rest of Australia but warns caution and that things can change rapidly in these conditions.
