On Friday May 22nd Brisbane went through it's coldest day for May in forty years.
With temperatures in the low teens, the Weather Bureau reports the drop in temperature is from the cold blast of air coming in from the southern states in combination with cloudy skies. Brisbane's last coldest day of May hasn’t been experienced since 1980 reaching 17.9C.
