This past few days Muslims were urged by The Australian National Imams Council to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and pray from home.

The Eid prayer and occasion is usually performed by all Muslims in large congregations however due to the Coronavirus pandemic participants were required to celebrate at home with a minimum number of three people. Prime Minister Scott Morrison thanked the Muslim community earlier through the week for their effort in remaining within the Country's COVID19 regulations during this time.

The occasion Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting and prayer.
