North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has been in discussions to bolster the country’s nuclear capabilities amid stalled denuclearisation talks with the US.
The North Korean leader hosted a military meeting with the ruling Worker’s Party’s Central Military Commission which marked his first public appearance in three weeks.
North Korean state media say the meeting discussed new policies to strengthen the country’s armed forces and contain military threats from hostile forces.
